Abstract (en)
In a multi-position window that has a window sash (20) that is rotatable out of the window frame (54) on at least two different axes (70, 72) on pivots which are changed by a drive train (30) on the sash (20) moving to different positions, the device includes one of a spring (48) driven bolt (40) and a strike (22) on the window sash (20) being moved by the drive train (30) into alignment and engagement with the other on the window frame (54) and with a hole (66) for a tool (84) to retract the bolt (40) from the strike (22). <IMAGE>
