Abstract (en)

The sign is made from a panel (1) with a series of projecting studs (5) spaced at regular intervals on the points of intersection of vertical and horizontal lines (4). Each of the studs is able to receive a disc (2) which snaps onto it to form part of a manually-arranged symbol. Variants of the design can have discs with central studs which fit into holes in the panel, or the panel can be made in a series of clip-together sections.
