[origin: GB2327947A] A detergent tablet comprising a nonionic surfactant having a melting point above ambient temperature suitable for use in an automatic dishwasher or laundry washing machine. The solid nonionic surfactant provides a hard tablet with good solubility properties. The surface is not dusty and good ejection from the tablet press is achieved.
