Abstract (en)
The method involves forcing a liquid metal, especially aluminium or copper into grooves (5) and/or front ring surfaces of a toroidal laminated core (4), and solidifying. A closed evacuated housing (2,8,14) accommodating the laminated core is dipped into a gas-free molten mass of the liquid metal, and then opened so that the effect of atmospheric pressure forces the metal into the housing. The housing may be evacuated to less than 50 Torr. An apparatus for manufacturing a rotor for electric machines is also claimed.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Ausfüllen von Hohlräumen und/oder Nuten (5) eines Körpers mit einem flüssigen Metall, wobei das flüssige Metall durch Anlegen einer äußeren Kraft in die evakuierten Hohlräume gedrückt wird, sowie eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens mit einem geschlossenen Gehäuse (2,8,14) mit einer Halterung für den Körper, einer verschließbaren Saugöffnung (8) an einem Ende des Gehäuses zum Evakuieren des Gehäuseinneren, eine Füllöffnung (14) an einem anderen Ende des Gehäuses zum Einfüllen des flüssigen Metalls durch eine äußere Kraft in das evakuierte Gehäuse. <IMAGE>
