[origin: WO9906187A1] In clamping chucks, in particular quick clamping chucks for screwdriver shanks, a ball is normally used for blocking the tool rod, said ball acting on the rod end by the effect exerted by a clamping surface and blocks the shank inserted in the chuck. However, the use of balls as blocking devices causes problems when the clamping chuck is being produced and can bring about an alteration in its operational capacity, when it is subsequently used. For this reason, the invention proposes to produce said blocking element in the form of a bent part (9) resting in a wall slot (8) provided transversely relative to the longitudinal direction of the bushing (2) receiving the tool.
