[origin: WO9962680A1] The invention relates to an artificial wood inlay, especially for furniture, consisting of a pressed shaped part (1, 2, 3) made of a paste from wood dust and binding agent. The shaped part paste consists of pure pine wood dust (4) and vinyl acetate adhesive (5). The shaped part (1) can be produced as a string and can be applied on, in or around support parts (7). The shaped part paste can be pressed to form a profile, a pattern such a flowers, crests, rosettes or the like or can be pressed on a support part made of laminate or wood.
