[origin: EP1000565A2] The tooth-brush (100) head (12) has bristles (10) and is joined to a handle (14) by spring device acting as damping element (16,18,20,22) causing the head and handle to swivel relative to each other. The head and handle are sprung towards the longitudinal axis (24) of the brush. A spring element (22) has a blank wall with through-passage and is parallel with, or at right angles to, the longitudinal axis.
