Abstract (en)
A method for making improved-sealability polypropylene fibers comprises a step of extruding fibers (9) made of polypropylene (2) and at least a polypropylene copolymer (4) having a melting temperature less than that of the melting temperature of the polypropylene material. The fibers have an outer surface which has high sealability properties owing to the provision, on at least a part of the outer surface, of the low-melting copolymer. <IMAGE>
