[origin: EP1001098A2] The toilet cistern cleaning medium is fed under controlled conditions by a device involving the medium coming from a controlled feed chamber (5) via a thin outflow conduit (6) connected with a controlled feed spoon (4) and reaching the cistern (1). A cleaning medium container (2) may be filled from the exterior via a pour-in device (16) projecting from the cistern. The device is installed in a toilet basin flushing cistern and contains a cleaning medium container, a controlled feed spoon and a float (3). The spoon is moved upwards and downwards by the float via a lever (8).
