[origin: EP1001109A1] The bracket part (3) and handle part (4) joined to it form a basis unit to which the nail removing part (2) is releasably attached via the bracket part. At least one further nail removing plate identical to the first removing part can be attached in the same way as the first part so that it is superimposed upon at least part of it and acts an extension of the first part. The centrally located bracket part is attached to a nail removing part with nail engaging notches (8, 9) in its sides (27, 28) and end region (25). The handle and nail removing parts are fitted to opposite sides of the bracket part.
