Abstract (en)
Described herein is a device that enables control of a tap (1), equipped with a safety valve, of a burner belonging to a built-in multipurpose gas cooking surface (1). The shaft of the knob (4) (located at the front of the cabinet where the cooking surface is set in) which controls the tap (1) that regulates gas flow to one of the burners of the cooking surface is connected to the shaft of the tap by a variable-length rod comprising adjustable blocking means (33) which enable the minimum length of the rod to be set, the rod thus being able to transmit to the tap shaft the axial force required to disable a safety valve built into the burner. <IMAGE>
