[origin: EP1001402A2] A display system has a tubular framework comprising uprights (12) braced by upper (16) and lower (14) cross members and supported on feet (18) at the bottom of the uprights. The display panels (20) are flexible and looped over the top cross members. The bottom of each display panel is fitted with a ballast bar (26) whose two ends are cupped (28) to lie against the inside faces of the uprights. The curvature of the cup ends matches that of the uprights and a friction grip stabilizes the fitting.
