[origin: DE19732846A1] The invention relates to imino-substituted phenyl compounds of formula (I), wherein the substituents have the following meanings: Z represents a group A or B, # characterising the bond with the phenyl ring and R<a> being halogen, alkyl or alkoxy; Y represents halogen, alkyl, alkyl halide or alkoxy; n represents 0, 1 or 2, whereby the Y radicals can be different when n = 2; R<1> represents halogen, alkyl halide or alkoxy; R<2> represents alkyl, alkyl halide, alkenyl, halogen alkenyl, alkinyl or halogen alkinyl; and R<3> represents cyano, alkyl, alkyl halide, alkoxy, cycloalkoxy, alkoxyalkyl, optionally substituted cycloalkyl, aryl, aryloxy or arylmethylene, heteroaryl, heterocyclyl, C(R<3a>)=N-OR<3b> or C(R<3a>)=CR<3c>R<3d>, R<3a>, R<3b>, R<3c> and R<3d> being hydrogen, alkyl or optionally substituted phenyl independently of each other. The invention also relates to a method for producing the inventive compounds and to their use for combating harmful fungi and animal pests.
