[origin: DE19741318C1] The surface of the individual tread plates (14) has across the direction of the profiled upwardly projecting shaped strips (30) transverse grooves corresponding to the longitudinal channels (28) defined by the strips. Further grooves are formed between these cross grooves as troughs. The longitudinal channels and cross grooves define groups of upwardly directed projections which flank the corrugated troughs. The shaped strips form with the grooves and channels grid patterns of projections.
