The seat (1) and back rest (2) of a chair are matched synchronously to the configuration of the body of a user and involve a front seat shell joint (6) provided for rotation of the seat and connected with a stand column accommodation housing (5). A rear seat shell joint (7) is provided for rotation of the back rest (2) and is fitted in a back rest support (4). At least one torsion spring (8) is arranged in the front or rear seat shell joint between the seat and the back rest. A pendulous joint (10) forms a rotatably located connection between the back rest support and the stand column accommodation housing.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Synchronanpassung von Sitz (1) und Rückenlehne (2) eines Stuhles an die Körperhaltung eines Benutzers mit einem vorderen Sitzschalengelenk (6), welches für eine Drehung des Sitzes (1) vorgesehen und mit einem Standsäulenaufnahmegehäuse (5) verbunden ist, mit einem hinteren Sitzschalengelenk (7), welches für eine Drehung der Rückenlehne (2) vorgesehen und in einem Lehnenträger (4) angeordnet ist, mit mindestens einer Rückstelleinrichtung in Form einer Torsionsfeder (8), mit einer Einrichtung zur Verstellung der Rückstellkräfte (9) sowie mit einem Pendelgelenk (10). Sie ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mindestens eine Torsionsfeder (8) axial im vorderen und/oder hinteren Sitzschalengelenk (6, 7) zwischen Sitz (1) und Rückenlehne (2) angeordnet ist, und daß das Pendelgelenk (10) eine drehbar gelagerte Verbindung zwischen dem Lehnenträger (4) und dem Standsäulenaufnahmegehäuse (5) darstellt. <IMAGE>
