Abstract (en)
The method involves feeding a foil-like, thin, continuous strip (1) of label material through a stamping and pick-up station (12) in which each label formed from a region of the strip is stamped out of the strip and picked up by a gripper enclosed by the stamping tool (17) as the residual grid material is carried away. The gripper transports the label to the object and applies it to the object. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for producing labels and transferring them to objects.

Bedruckte ETiketten werden aus einem folienartig dünnen, endlosen Materialstreifen (1) hergestellt und auf zu etikettierende Gegenstände aufgebracht. Hierzu wird der Materialstreifen (1) durch eine Stanz- und Aufnahmestation (12) geführt, in der mittels eines Stanzwerkzeugs (17) das Ausstanzen erfolgt. Gleichzeitig wird das jeweilige Etikett unter Zurücklassen eines weggeführten Reststreifens (37) gitterartiger Struktur von einem vom Stanzwerkzeug (17) umschlossenen Haftgreifer aufgenommen. Anschließend wird das jeweilige Etikett mittels des Haftgreifers (25) zum zu etikettierenden Gegenstand transportiert und dort auf diesen aufgebracht. <IMAGE>
