[origin: WO9910216A1] In the control valve (28) of a vacuum brake booster a feeler piston (36), which can be axially closed by means of the entry member (34), is positioned, which is housed in a guide bushing (42) fixed in the control valve housing (30) and firmly joined with a stop bolt (66) extending in a transverse direction. The stop bolt (66) projects radially outward from the guide bushing (42) through a slot (68) embodied therein and into an aeration channel (62) of the control valve housing (30) which when a first valve seat (48) is open links the working chamber (26) with a pressure which is at least equivalent to atmospheric pressure. To improve the flow of air through the aeration channel (62) edges of the slot (68) present in the guide bushing (42) form stop elements for an axial displacement of the stop bolt (66). In the area in which the stop bolt (66) projects into the aeration channel (62) the latter is positioned at an angle to the working chamber (26) and has an axial extension which is significantly greater than the axial extension of the slot (68).
