The cutter includes a support for the material(6), a first knife(5) and a second knife(3) perpendicular to the support. The cutting edge(9) of the second knife has two shank-like sections(10,11) with an obtuse angle between them facing the opposing cutting edge(8) of the first knife part and material to be cut.

Eine Vorrichtung (1) zum Beschneiden von Bogen oder Bahnen aus Papier und mehrblättrigen Druckprodukten (6) aller Art, besteht aus einem ersten Messerteil (5) und einem mit diesem zusammenwirkenden zweiten Messerteil (3), der gegenüber dem ersten Messerteil (5) eine aus zwei schenkelartigen Abschnitten (10, 11) gebildete Schneidkante (9) aufweist, wobei die Abschnitte (10, 11) einen der Schneidkante (8) des ersten Messerteils (5) gegenüberliegenden stumpfen Winkel α bilden. <IMAGE>
