[origin: EP1004413A1] Shavings (1) are blown from the machine (2) generating them to a collection station (9) inside the same machine, and from there they are transported mechanically to an impregnation station (4) and then packaged in a packaging station (6). Independent claims are also included for the process machinery, and shavings (preferably wood ones) made by this process, the shavings having been dried in hot air, preferably in a flow of hot air at 150-270 deg.C.
