Abstract (en)
A stone cutting and polishing tool has a polishing/cutting wheel made of polycrystalline diamond (PKD) segments/blades arranged in a pattern on a support disc. The working edges of the segments/blades are set at a negative angle of up to 10 deg. to the rotational direction of the tool. The spaces between the working edges enable debris to be removed without clogging the tool. The tool can be used dry or with a lubricant.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Werkzeug zum Bearbeiten von Stein oder steinähnlichen Materialien das sich dadurch auszeichnet, daß es mit Schneiden aus PKD-Segmenten versehen ist. <IMAGE>
