Abstract (en)

A sleeve (10) for a cable composed of carrying cords (2,3,5) made of fixed plastic fibers (8), especially polyamide fibers, surrounds at least the carrying cords of the outermost cord layer (6). The sleeve consists of a liquid with UV stabilizing additives and additives which protect against wear and external cable damaging influences.

Abstract (de)

Bei diesem Kunstfaserseil mit mehrlagig verseilten tragenden Aramidfaserlitzen (9, 10, 11), wird vorgeschlagen, dass anstelle einer bisher extrudierten, schützenden Kunststoffummantelung nur eine zusätzliche Beschichtung (10) der Kunstfaserlitzen (4,5) der äussersten Litzenlage (6) mit Imprägniermittel und Zusätzen von UV-Stabilisatoren, Kurzfasern, Oxidations- und Reduktionsblockern aufgebracht wird und dadurch ein zuverlässiger Schutz gegen das Seil schädigende Umwelteinflüsse sowie eine ausreichende Abriebfestigkeit des Kunstfaserseils (1) unverändert sichergestellt sind. <IMAGE>
