[origin: EP1004713A2] A sanitary wall fitting has a support plate (7) fitted to the wall and with a trim cover (16) fitted to the support plate via ratchet grips. These comprise spring fingers (10) which grip the edge of the trim plate and which activate ratchet grips for a secure fitting. No separate fasteners are required and the fitting an removal of the trim does not require special tools. A number of spring fingers are spaced around the fitting for an improved grip.
