Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1004718A2] The longitudinal edges of the sealing strip are pressed onto the edges of the glass panes, whereby the sealing strip on the side of the pane is provided with a sealant. The sealant is formed in strips (12,13,14) running in the longitudinal direction of the sealing strip. The central strip is attached to a deck profile (4) by screws, where the width of the strip is greater than the diameter of the screws. The strips (12,14) on the longitudinal edges are held partially by a recess on the sealing strip (2) of the deck profile. A supporting strip is also provide which has an aluminium outer layer and two transparent plastics inner layers.
