Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1004730A1] The lock comprises a bolt and a pawl with a control part (1) able to move the pawl to release the bolt. There is an interior opening lever (15) and an external opening lever (13) able to move the pawl control part. A locking/unlocking lever (6) can release the connection between the external lever and the pawl control and re-establish the connection in an unlocked position. An automatic unlocking mechanism moves the locking lever to its unlocked position under the action of the interior lever. A child lock (17,20) connected to the pawl control is, in its inactive position, able to connect the interior lever to rotate with the pawl control and engage with the locking lever so as to automatically unlock the door. In its active position the child lock releases the connection between the interior lever and the pawl so as to neutralize the automatic unlocking mechanism.
