[origin: EP1005812A2] The seat is attached to an elastic plate (12A), which rests on the spherical top (11A) of the column and is fixed with a screw (12C) guided through a reinforced opening (12B). The tilting motion is terminated by a rubber ring (13B), radial positioned underneath the plate (12A). The column can be adjusted in height with an adjusting ring (14), joined to the column with a threaded area. The stool has a spherical base with a straight top surface, which is joined to a spherical seat by a vertical column (11). The relation between the dimensions of the parts protects the occupant from falling over in case of an extreme tilted position.
