[origin: EP1006053A1] A can has a lid (1) with a closure (2) consisting of a ring which is hot sealed to the can blank, and a die-cut surrounding metal part and which is double-folded onto the can. The can ring closure is removed be peeling using an opening tab and replaced by hand pressure.
