Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1348639A1] The sealed impermeable cavity (8) of the packaging accommodates a solid, fluid or viscous food, or a medical product (19). It is surrounded by bonded layers (3, 7) of the tray (2) and cover (3) respectively. A welded bead (4) increases package (1) sealing. It maintains the seal up to the use-before date, before the package is first opened.
