Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1006332A1] The arrangement has mechanisms for transporting cartridges and transferring them to the gun. An axial transport mechanism (19) has a transport chain (34) with which the cartridges (2) are displaced in their longitudinal direction perpendicularly to the direction of motion of the transport chain. The transport chain is driven via a buffer shaft (35) so that the cartridges are brought into a buffer position before being transferred to the gun.
