[origin: DE19837218A1] The grinder backing disc assembly (16) swivels in relation to the frame (2,4). The support contains pivot mounted, rotatably driven and spaced apart side grinder discs (19). A spherical bearing (22,25) is between the support and a drive element (25a) for the support mounted in the frame. A universal ball joint (11,13) has the same centre as the spherical bearing. The universal joint connects the side grinder discs to a drive shaft (7) extending coaxially with the drive.
