[origin: DE19705401A1] Known methods and devices for sludging humid abrasives in an abrasive jet processing receptable have poor sludging properties or comprise complicated devices for enhancing said sludging. The invention thus proposes a new method in which water pressure is produced in the processing receptable (1), thus causing the water level in the funnel tube (6) to rise to a maximum fill height above the sieve (14). To this end, the corresponding device has corresponding adjustable and backpressure-forming devices at the overflow channel (15).
