[origin: WO9905050A1] The invention concerns a device for recuperating liquids, in particular inflammable liquids, such as a recuperation tank or reservoir containing an element absorbing said liquid and a cover (C) mounted on said tank top opening and through which said liquid flows into the recuperation tank or reservoir. The invention is characterised in that the cover (C) comprises a substantially closed chamber (5) with inlets (4) in its upper part and outlets (6) in its base above the recuperation tank or reservoir, the cover (C) top part comprising at least a sloping surface (1, 3) guiding the liquid towards said chamber (5) inlets (4). The invention is applicable to the recuperation of liquids.
