A sub-construction (2) such as a wall is located beneath a building casing (1) particularly comprising a plate cladding fixed by connecting parts (7) to the sub-construction. The conducting parts penetrate relatively solid insulation plates (6) and between these plates relatively soft insulation material (10) is arranged. The connecting parts have components preferably located in a line on the relatively solid insulation plates. The connecting at least partly penetrates the insulation plates. They incorporate U-shaped rails. An Independent claim is also included for a method of insulating a building.

Bei einer Gebäudehülle mit einer Unterkonstruktion ist eine Verkleidung über Verbindungsteile an der Unterkonstruktion befestigt und diese Verbindungsteile durchdringen relativ feste Dämmplatten. Zwischen diesen relativ festen Dämmplatten ist weiches Dämmaterial angeordnet. Sofern die Unterkonstruktion Kassetten aufweist wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Verbindungsteile relativ feste Dämmplatten durchdringen und zwischen den relativ festen Dämmplatten und den Kassetten relativ weiches Dämmaterial angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
