Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1008696A2] A sub-construction (2) such as a wall is located beneath a building casing (1) particularly comprising a plate cladding fixed by connecting parts (7) to the sub-construction. The conducting parts penetrate relatively solid insulation plates (6) and between these plates relatively soft insulation material (10) is arranged. The connecting parts have components preferably located in a line on the relatively solid insulation plates. The connecting at least partly penetrates the insulation plates. They incorporate U-shaped rails. An Independent claim is also included for a method of insulating a building.
