The method involves mixing a gas (10) and a combustion air flow (11) in a composition dependent on the results of measuring the quality of the gas before combustion. The mixture is set to the gas quality with the lowest anticipated energy content and altered if the quality improves.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Regelverfahren für Gasbrenner zur Bereitstellung eines unterschiedliche Gasqualitäten berücksichtigenden, verbrennungsoptimierten Gas/Luft-Gemisches. Erfindungsgemäß wird vor einer Verbrennung im Gasbrenner die Gasqualität des Gases im Gasstroms gemessen, wobei in Abhängigkeit dieser Gasqualitätsmessung die Zusammensetzung des Gas/Luft-Gemisches bestimmt wird. Das erfindungsgemäße Regelverfahren ist geräteunabhängig und reagiert schneller aus sich ändernde Gasqualitäten. <IMAGE>
