[origin: WO9911890A1] The invention concerns an elementary construction (1) comprising a frame (2) made up of an assembly of sections preferably tubular, a covering element (3), in particular made of a soft material such as a tarpaulin being fixed on said frame (2). Said elementary construction (1) is essentially characterised in that its frame (2) comprises two structures (8, 9) in regular polygonal shape with n sides, n being not less than three, said structures (8, 9) being arranged, relative to an orthogonal axis (10) passing through their centre (0, 0') in different planes (P, P') and being angularly offset, relative to each other by an angle ( alpha ) which is equal to 180 DEG /n, each structure (8, 9) top being connected by vertical members (M) to the two tops of the other structure which are nearest in a straight line. The invention also concerns a modular construction with such elementary constructions.
