The procedure consists of placing the pipe (3) in a matrix (10) with a side branch (13), injecting a high-pressure fluid into the pipe and applying a pressure to each end of it, forming the metal to flow into the branch. The front surface (3a) of the metal inside the branch is initially held parallel to the axis of the pipe, and during the forming process it is turned with the aid of a counter-pusher (20) controlled by a rotary power cylinder (31) so that it lies perpendicular to the axis of the branch.

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de réalisation par hydroformage d'un piquage incliné à partir d'un tube (3) métallique, dans lequel on place le tube (3) dans une matrice (10) comportant une empreinte munie d'une dérivation (13) correspondant à la forme désirée dudit piquage, on injecte dans le tube un fluide sous haute pression et simultanément on exerce une poussée sur chaque extrémité dudit tube pour forcer le métal à fluer dans cette dérivation. Dès le début de la réalisation du piquage, on retient sa surface frontale (3a) dans la dérivation selon une surface parallèle à l'axe du tube (3) et, à un moment choisi au cours de la formation du piquage, on oriente la surface frontale du piquage selon une surface perpendiculaire à l'axe de ce piquage. L'invention a également pour objet un dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé. <IMAGE>
