Es wird eine Schneidvorrichtung (1) für eine Warenbahn (2), insbesondere aus Papier oder Karton angegeben, mit einer Messerreihe (4), die sich über die Breite der Warenbahn (2) erstreckt und mehrere Messer aufweist, die mit Abstand zueinander in einer Reihe nebeneinander angeordnet sind. Hierbei möchte man die Schwächung und die Festigkeit der Warenbahn (2) besser aufeinander abstimmen können. Hierzu ist eine zweite Reihe von Messern (15) vorgesehen, in der zweite Messer mit Abstand zueinander angeordnet sind und die parallel zur ersten Reihe (14) verschiebbar ist. <IMAGE>
