[origin: EP1010600A2] To load vehicles (2,3) on to railroad wagons (8), they are moved across the rail tracks (4) through a ramp (5) for loading and unloading. The vehicles (2,3) move on pallets (12) which are pushed on to the wagons (8) and remain in place during the journey together with their vehicles (2,3). While the pallets are being moved, they are guided by centering units between their end sides to slide accurately into the allocated space.
