Abstract (en)
The hydrant has a valve closure part (22) acting with the ball (28) of a ball valve unit (2). The unit has a ball housing (10) with a ball return seat (30) in its lower section. The ball is guided along its movement track by evenly distributed guide bars (32). The ends of the bars engage into the ball locking seat (26) resp. the return seat.

Unterhalb des Hydranten ist eine Kugelabsperrvorrichtung 2 angeordnet, deren Kugel 28 bei einer Öffnung des Hydranten vom sich nach unten bewegenden Ventilschließkörper (22) mitgenommen wird. Im unteren Bereich des Kugelgehäuses (10) der Kugelabsperrvorrichtung ist ein Kugelrückschlagsitz (30) angeordnet, auf welchen die Kugel absinkt, wenn die Durchströmung zum Stillstand kommt. In dieser Lage wirkt die Kugel als Rückschlagventil, welches eventuelle Rückströmungen verhindert. <IMAGE>
