Abstract (en)
The foot (1) consists of two hollow moulded blocks (3, 4) which are hinged together down one side by a tongue (3b) on one block engaging with a slot (4b) on the other. On the opposite side the two blocks are fastened together by an H-shaped key (20) inserted through notches (3d, 4d) into shaped holes (25). The two blocks have concave recesses (13, 14) in their facing surfaces which form a well for the post or mast (2) when they are joined together.

Dispositif (1) formant pied pour piquet (2) ou mât, notamment pour pied de tonnelle (2) ou de panneau, comprenant deux cales telles que des enveloppes creuses (3, 4), de formes complémentaires, destinées à être assemblées en définissant entre elles un puits (15) de réception dudit piquet ou mât, caractérisé en ce que les cales forment ensemble au moins une zone (24, 25) de réception d'une clé de verrouillage (20), cette clé étant apte à exercer sur ces cales un effort s'opposant à leur séparation, alors que chaque cale (3, 4) présente une entaille (3d, 4d) d'introduction de la clé jusqu'à la zone de réception (23-25) précitée. Le procédé consiste à faire pivoter les cales autour d'un axe (Z1-Z'1) d'articulation et à les verrouiller, par fermeture de l'articulation ainsi formée, en disposant la clé de verrouillage (20) en appui sur des surfaces de portée (24, 24'). <IMAGE>
