[origin: EP1011086A2] The label (4) holder, for a merchandise shelf, has a longitudinal holder profile in sections (1a,1b), each with a holding groove (3a,3b) at the upper and lower longitudinal edges to take the inserted label. The side surfaces (2) of the profile sections (1a,1b) have a concave curvature to hold the label (4). The sections of the holder profile (1a,1b) are held together by a film hinge and the ends of the holder profile (1a,1b) are covered by snap-on caps (9).
