[origin: WO9913765A1] A system for remote monitoring the state of health of a living organism comprising a substrate (12) located within a waterproof disposable membrane (13) being provided with a pressure sensitive adhesive (14) extending peripherally of the membrane (13) for attaching the membrane (13) to skin (A) of the organism. The substrate (12) carries a transducer (15) for recording change of temperature of the organism. Signals indicative of temperature change are transmitted by electromagnetic radiation to a monitor for providing output indicative of the temperature change.
