[origin: WO9910082A1] The invention relates to a device for absorbing moisture from the air. The device has a case which is comprised of a collector component with an attached receiving component. The case also contains replaceable packaging which is arranged inside the receiving opening and is filled with absorption material. The receiving component of said case is formed out of one or more essentially flat parts by means of bending. The receiving component can, for example, be made of up of several flat parts which are bent and separately joined to one another. The flat parts are thus essentially alike and, for example, are cut out of a flat sheet. Said parts can be produced out of a recyclable material, for example, cellulose material. The invention also relates to a receiving component for use in such a device for absorption.
