Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2768067A1] The invention concerns an apparatus (10) for separating and purifying polluting agents from at least one fluid mixture comprising a rotor (16) with at least two open-work stacked plates (18), an intake element (14) for the mixture to be treated located above the rotor (16), means (22A, 22B) for collecting the heavy phase located beneath the rotor (16) and an element (26) for extracting the treated mixture, located above the intake element (14). The fluid entering the apparatus is driven by a descending helical movement in the annular space (20) arranged between the periphery of the rotor plates and the apparatus body, then reverses its trajectory to rise again through the plate recesses describing an ascending helical movement. The apparatus comprises a plurality of blades (42) extending substantially longitudinally at least in the proximity of the periphery of the plates (18) and which are integral with rotor (16) in rotation. Said blades slope rearwards relative to the rotor rotating direction (R)
