Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0002754A1] According to the inventive method for influencing the movement dynamics of a motor vehicle, the vehicle velocity and the transversal acceleration are fed as input signals to a regulating and control unit in which an adjustment signal is generated when a limiting value of a quantity which determines the driving condition is exceeded. In order to create a movement dynamics system with which additional adjustment possibilities for influencing the movement dynamics of a motor vehicle are presented, the invention provides that throttle valve adjustment signals for limiting the throttle valve position are generated when a limiting value of the vehicle velocity and/or the transversal acceleration is exceeded. In addition, the invention provides that the temporal change of the transversal acceleration is determined and a coupling adjusting signal for opening the coupling is generated in the regulating and control unit in the event that the change in the transversal acceleration surpasses a limiting value.
