[origin: DE19815780A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve which is characterized in that it comprises a multilayer turbulence disc (30) located downstream from a valve seat (15) which is formed on a valve seat element (13). At least both of these components are installed in the direction of the inflowing side inside a through opening (10) of a valve seat support (9). The valve seat support (9) has a lower base area (17) which provides for a reduction in size of the cross-section of the through opening (10) located downstream from the valve seat (15). The fuel injection valve is especially suited for directly injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of a compound compressed, spark injection internal combustion engine.
