The boot for snow sports has a reinforcement shell (30) with a lower section (40) which fits around the rear of the boot heel and has a strap to retain it to the ankle area. An upper shell section (50) extends vertically upwardly from the lower section and has a dorsal wall (52) and two side walls to fit around the rear of the boot.

L'invention concerne un élément de renfort (30) amovible pour chaussure de sport, notamment chaussure de surf des neige, du type comprenant une chaussure externe (10) et un chausson interne (20), la chaussure externe (10) comportant une semelle externe (12) et une tige externe (11), le chausson interne (20) comportant une enveloppe chaussante couvrant le pied et la jambe. L'élément de renfort (30) comporte une partie basse (40) formant contrefort talon et munie de moyens de serrage (44) exerçant un efforts de serrage au niveau du cou de pied. Il est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte également une partie haute (50) s'étendant verticalement vers le haut depuis la partie basse (40) et comportant une paroi dorsale (52) et deux parois latérales (51) entourant le bas de jambe. <IMAGE>
