Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1013316A1] The alpine ski has a thinner section (13) at the rear of the ski binding zone (2) than at the front (12). The front section (20,33) of the binding plate (10) is fixed to the ski at the level of the raised front section (12) of the ski. The rear portion (21) of the plate is situated above the rear portion of the binding zone and is free to move longitudinally with respect to the ski.
