[origin: DE19859558C1] Preventing secondary cloudiness in spirits comprises ultrasonic treatment and removal of constituents separated in this way. Independent claims are also included for: (1) the use of ultrasound for separating ethyl esters of 6-18C fatty acids from spirits; and (2) spirits stabilized against secondary cloudiness, in which the ratio of the total content of ethyl esters of 16-18C fatty acids to the total content of ethyl esters of 6-14C fatty acids, in mg/100 ml pure alcohol, is less than 0.2.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Behandlung von alkoholischen Getränken und insbesondere zur Verhinderung der Nachtrübung von Spirituosen, wobei die eine Nachtrübung verursachenden Bestandteile durch eine Ultraschallbehandlung ausgeschieden und anschließend abgetrennt werden, ohne daß das sensorische Profil der mit diesem Verfahren hergestellten Produkte nachteilig beeinflußt wird. <IMAGE>
