Abstract (en)
Gold and gold alloys products are electrodeposited from a solution free from cadmium and from free cyanide ions in which EDTA or a similar chelating agent is used as complexing agent; the solution can comprise ceramic material that is co-deposited with the gold ions to impart improved mechanical and physical properties to the final products.
